Thank you for your feedback. We find that at the moment, there is only so much we can achieve during the contraints of the working day. We are flexible to discuss related issues, however, we are trying to avoid patients coming in with a 'shopping list' of ailments. We have already had comments on the GP's running late, and this does add to the waiting time. We are currently looking at the way in which patients contact the surgery. Thank you for your feedback. It is most regrettable that we sometimes run late with our consultations. Everyone gets the time they require and we do not expect anyone to leave after the 10 minute government set timescale. Sometimes our GP's have to deal with emergencys, terminal patients and have to contact hospital consultants, dictate urgent letters, all during clinic time. We continue to look at our workload v time and are always looking to manage our ever increasing workload. Tracy Bridge, Practice Manager.
